During the first half of the 1960s, Ferrari was truly on top of the world. Its prototypes won the Le Mans 24 Hours six years in a row, it took Phil Hill and John Surtees to Formula One titles, and its 250 series dominated GT racing. Competition had always been at the very heart of Enzo’s company, but it was about to prove that it could also blend its sporting ethos with extreme luxury.
